Energy Perfromance Certificates

From the 30th June 2008 all properties marketed for sale or rent require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

From the 30th June 2008 all properties marketed for sale or rent require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and for it to be displayed on any marketing material. It is the legal responsibility of the vendor, to make sure an EPC is produced for your property. Northern Ireland Legislation/EU Directive states that the EPC shall be made available to any prospective purchasers/tenants at the earliest opportunity and in addition, the conveyance process will not be completed by your solicitor in relation to a sale, unless an EPC is in place for your property.

Independent Homes cannot market any property without this but have an in-house assessor, Matthew Scott, who would be happy to organise this for a competitive fee.
